In the 1990s, eleven photographers of several generations took part in the 1999 – Photographs of Czech Society project. These were Karel Cudlín, Jaromír Čejka, Alena Dvořáková, Ivo Gil, Bohdan Holomíček, Pavla Hrachová, Viktor Kolář, Tomki Němec, Tomáš Pospěch, Petr Rošický, Pavel Štecha, Jan Douša, Čeněk Folk, Václav Tvarůžka etc.. The aim was to capture in a documentary form the changing Czech society at the end of the 20th century. The exhibition will also feature photographs by recent graduates and current students of the Department of Photography, FAMU, Prague, which reflect the young generation’s views on issues it currently considers interesting and important.
