In his exhibition, FAMU Photography student Šimon Levitner explores past foresights which never materialized but which nevertheless become present whenever we stumble upon a concrete fragment or a motive from the past. Levitner returns to the ’80s and (mainly) ’90s, when everyday life was partly permeated with futuristic visions which promised a happy future full of fascinating and complex technology and comfortable high-tech life. We still encounter fragments of these visions, despite the fact that visions of sustainable development are now preferred.
