Bohdan Holomíček likes to send his photographs back into circulation – he used to give them away or to exhibit them (without frames, just pinned and hand-labelled at the bottom); recently he has been emailing them or screening them, accompanied by friendly music acts (Pavel Zajíček a DG 307, Noční Optika). He didn’t begin to fetishize black-and-white photography; instead he switched smoothly to digital technology, he keeps on shooting, and slowly digitalizes his large archive.
