Clouds is a subjective study of a family, presented in a series of pictures with no causal connections, like fragments of past events living in our memory. In what ways have our ancestors influenced our lives? What did they tell us and what did they conceal? The consequences of what actions or events do we bear in life? What do we really remember, and what is just fantasy? What does family really mean today? And does anyone know how to bake “clouds” anymore?
Handa Gote Research & Development is an art group which navigates its instrumentation through sound installation, motion and dance theatre, live music, research in the field of media archelogy, art theatre, and technology. Their work is influenced by minimalism, Eastern philosophy and the Do It Yourself movement.
